Supervision claims
Supervision claims are imported from CamCORS. Payment details are taken from the CamCORS data but can be over ridden by data held in PPS. PPS can apply an uplift to claims, if required.
Non-supervision claims
Other claims can be imported from CamCORS or entered manually eg paper supervision claims, interviews, DoS payments, invigilation.
Payments
BACS and other import files can be generated. Remittance advices can be emailed to payees.
Reports and statistics
Including HMRC return, breakdown of hours and costs by supervisor, subject or tripos.
Costs
The Colleges’ Administration Software Consortium (or “CASC”) is a trading name for the Office of Intercollegiate Services Ltd.
The charge for using FAS is calculated on undergraduate numbers and collected via the OIS levies. Please contact us for the charge applicable to your College.
Technical information
PPS is a web-based system hosted centrally by CASC. It is developed on an ASP.NET platform with Microsoft SQL Server as the back-end database
